Introduction
Xieyang Island is a picturesque island located in, Beihai, in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region. The island boasts a unique shield-like shape with its longest axis stretching approximately 2.01 kilometers from northwest to southeast, and its widest point measuring about 1.35 kilometers. Covering an area of 1.827 square kilometers, the island is encircled by a coastline measuring 5.981 kilometers in length. Xieyang Island is a product of volcanic activities, which have given rise to its striking geological features. The island is not only noted for its natural beauty but also for its rich history and cultural significance. It serves as a popular destination for tourists, offering a variety of attractions such as Yangmie Ridge, Yangmie Cave, Xiaoyao Terrace, Tianya Road, and the Immortal's Secret Cave. Surrounding Xieyang Island are several scenic bays, including Eastern Bay, Dan Water Bay, Zaomen Bay, and Poba Deep Water Bay, complemented by two small piers, Zaomen Port and Poba Port.
